Lauren Gundrum writes book and lyrics for musical theater. Her work is highly collaborative, developed in the room alongside performers, directors, and musicians, and shaped through rehearsal and live performance.

She is drawn to character-driven stories with emotional complexity, humor, and a slightly offbeat lens. Across her projects, she often bridges writing and production - guiding work from early concept through performance.

Most at home in rehearsal rooms and collaborative creative environments, Lauren enjoys building work in real time alongside artists, supporting both the vision and the process that brings it to life.
